Ian Montgomery, CMPE

Ian is an Iowa City native who returned home in 2006 after over
twenty-five years of developing, managing, and consulting with a wide
variety of medical groups across the country. He graduated from
The University of Iowa with B.A. degrees in Psychology and
Sociology and an M.A. degree in Health Administration. Ian has
been a Certified Medical Practice Executive since 1985.

Ian serves as the Executive in Residence for the graduate Program in Health Management and Policy at the University of Iowa, where he also teaches Strategic Planning and Group Practice Administration courses as Adjunct Associate Professor.

Ian is married with two children (and four grandchildren), all with
homes in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area.
